About me
I am a qualified Court and Community Interpreter (DCU GCCI), I hold the Chartered Institute of Linguists' Diploma in Translation (DipTrans), I am also an ITIA Certified Translator (from English to Polish and from Polish to English) working on a freelance basis since 1998, in Ireland since 2002.
Between 1991 and 2002 – before
fully committing to translation and interpreting – I worked as a full-time teacher
of English as a foreign language for all age groups: from 4-year-old nursery school pupils to primary, secondary school
and college students to various groups of mature students including Polish Army officers.
I am a Professional Member of the Irish
Translators’ and Interpreters’ Association (ITIA) and as such I work in accordance with the ITIA Code of Practice and
Professional Ethics as well as ITIA Code of Ethics for Community Interpreters and I am committed to providing services of the highest standards.
My skills and qualifications combined with many years of
professional experience, true dedication and a friendly attitude give my clients the peace of mind they deserve in knowing that all their
translation needs will be dealt with in a competent and professional manner.
